I like this place. Some dishes are better than others but overall is pretty good. Had Feijoada de Mariscos which was delicious and Lamb chops which were pretty good but the meat close the bone too rare for me when I ordered medium but still good. I just have to say that took a while for someone to greet at the door and when someone finally came was not very attentive. Definitely will be back! Cheers

I’m upset that I’ve been in the area for 2 years and am just now experiencing this restaurant. You know a restaurant cares about their food when they bring out fresh, quality *warm* bread. I’ve been on keto and I’m usually pretty strict with my food but I just could not resist dipping this bread in what could possibly be the best calamari I’ve ever had in my LIFE The cod stew was also phenomenal. Super tender and flavorful, it felt like a warm hug in my mouth. Service was also impeccable - food came out fast and they packed our food for us without even asking. Incredible value, will definitely be coming back ↕

The food was delicious and the service exceptional. Prices are very expensive here but for the portion size, we were satisfied. Shared the grilled seafood platter for 2 and took some home. Our coffees were not the best but manager resolved our situation. Must valet park on-site so tack on more $ for the tip. Overall, costly but positive experience.

The 6 of us ordered the following: camarao ao alho, presunto com queijo, bolinhos de bacalhau, costeletas de Cordeiro, bife de churrasco, white sangria. We got a paella too, but it was too sandy. We had to return it. The lamb chops were very good, at least, for the 1st few. The last double rib chop was very raw. We have to return that. Then we got 2 more chops, but they were also raw. The manager gave us all pateis de nata. The garlic shrimps, the skirt steak & bacalhau are very good. The salted cod wasn't too salty.

This restaurant is amazing. An authentic Portuguese cuisine and very tasty. The service is outstanding and the ambience is cozy and pleasant. I've tried many plates there and everything was delicious. But my favorites are their alheira, bolinhos de bacalhau, bacalhau à old lisbon, and bacalhau com natas.

I used to love the Octopus and mussels here, but I hadn’t been back since the pandemic. The restaurant has been under new management and it is THRIVING. It is an absolutely spectacular atmosphere for date night or family night. The octopus and white wine mussels exceeded my expectations and the halibut special was so soft and savory I was beyond impressed. Our server Rodrigo was out of this world and has really turned the place around! The outdoor seating is lovely. This place will easily become one of my top spots in Miami! The drinks were also great- got a mojito and a red sangria.

One of the best foods around the Coral Gables area. Service is great, people are so warm and welcoming. The vibe is wonderful! The only serious complaint I have is that their desserts are the worst I've ever tried in my life. I would expect more from a place as nice as this one. Terrible. Please, I would love the restaurant to take this review as an opportunity to change or improve their dessert menu. Other than that, great place!!!! Take-out is great as well.

The moment you step through the door, you're greeted with the warm embrace of friendly service and the enticing aromas wafting from the kitchen.

Customer reviews speak volumes about the delightful experiences at Old Lisbon. Temo Rivera shares his love for the Feijoada de Mariscos, a delicious seafood stew, alongside the lamb chops, noting that while some dishes vary in doneness, the overall quality is commendable. For those seeking exemplary seafood, En raves about the tender and flavorful cod stew and praises the impeccable service, suggesting that the calamari is a must-try.

While some dishes may have had minor hiccups, as Kyle Style noted with the paella, there's no denying the standout offerings at Old Lisbon. The garlic shrimp, skirt steak, and bacalhau have all made a lasting impression. The establishment prides itself on serving fresh, quality ingredients, evident in their warm bread that pairs perfectly with every bite.

Stephanie Vidigal encapsulates the essence of this restaurant, calling it “amazing” and highlighting the alheira and bacalhau à old lisbon as her favorites. The cozy ambiance complements the flavorful dishes, making each visit feel special, whether it’s a casual meal or a celebratory dinner.
